John McCain has a very old memory not really thinking of his running mate as a true running mate and Sarah Palin is trying to take over as the candidate for President instead of the candidate for Vice-President. In one part of the political cartoon John says “Don’t be fooled by the nice smile and the interesting life but my opponent has no foreign policy experience!” to Sarah Palin. This shows that John McCain is to old for the candidate for President because he thinks of his running mate as a person who lacks the experience of foreign policy. The other part of the political cartoon Sarah says “I thought I was your running mate” to John McCain. It means that Sarah Palin has a lack of experience by John McCain knowing that John only wanted her for Hilary Clinton voters because she was a woman. John McCain and Sarah Palin are two unlikely candidates for Vice-President and President for Sarah’s young age to lack of experience while John is to old with his unhealthy issue.

The meaning of the political cartoon is to tell how John McCain’s running mate, Sarah Palin is not experienced enough to become a Vice-President of the United States. She doesn’t have enough experience being a Governor of Alaska because not to long ago she became Governor. She also does not have foreign experience to comprise with foreign countries in difficult situations. I think John McCain chose Sarah Palin to win over the women who were going to vote for Hilary Clinton. He feels that he has a better chance at winning if he chooses a woman to be his running mate. If John McCain was President, and he could not fulfill his duties, Sarah Palin would step in to take his place to become President and bring the country down because she is not experience enough to be a leader of the United States of America.

PBL Election State paragraph

Pennsylvania is famously described by Democratic strategist James Carville as "you’ve got Philadelphia at one end of the state, Pittsburgh at the other end, and Alabama in the middle. Pennsylvania Secretary of the Commonwealth Pedro A. Cortés stated on March 17, 2007, that The commonwealth’s large number of electoral college votes and diverse population make Pennsylvania a key battleground state. Pennsylvania is considered a swing state, although it has voted Democratic in the last four elections. In 2004, John Kerry won over George W. Bush by about 2.5 percent. It was still an important prize, with 21 electoral votes, Pennsylvania, like many industrial northern states, has seen population migrate away in recent decades.

PBL election: A Vision of Science issues

A Vision of Science issues

Global Warming is a issues that's been wondering the Earth for a long time uncared about but ever since the starting years of the new century it's become a major issue. The reason why is because the Earth is getting hotter because of the Greenhouse effect that brings the sun on places that don't get the much heat and is making the ozone layer get smaller by the day. A example is that the regular storm disasters are overpowering their strength that kills millions, the Antarctic glaziers are falling apart melting the ice away which is a problem for the polar bears, and the forest fires which burn down wild animals homes causing them to move plus the plants we need are getting wasted. The causes of global warming from us are the gasoline we use leek out of transportation vehicles oil that shoots in the sky, we are wasting water that we use will be gone if we don't conserve it, the Oil Company's tank are going up in the sky making the Earth get hotter, and all war material have a chemical in the after being used that is the most reason of the world getting hotter. McCain Calls global warming an issue that we cant ignore, and Obama also believes that we need to stop global warming from happening.

Nuclear weapons use the destructive properties of splitting an atom which cause explosions destroying nearly or all things in it's range. It can be very dangerous, especially the atom bomb, because they destroy land and kill many innocent citizens that do not deserve to die. When a country has nuclear weapons we have to respond by buying more very expensive weapons that contracts with them so that they don't get more abuse the nuclear power by using it on our enemy on the wrong time. They hurt are economy and the war and they need to be gone for good because using nuclear weapons are going to just cause more destruction, power, and greed to other countries around the world. McCain says that,"If Iran acquires nuclear weapons, all the other countries will acquire them too, and Obama said we cannot allow Iran to get a nuclear weapon because it would be a game-changer in the region

Off shore drilling is the act of extracting underground resources which lie underwater near the shoreline where they will drill for oil off the shore of America. The first offshore drilling was done at the end of the 19th century in Baku at the Bibi-Eibat field and in 1896 at Summerland field on the California Coast. The fields today are found in the North Sea, the Gulf of Mexico, the Campos, Santos Basins off the coasts of Brazil, Newfoundland and Nova Scotia, and several fields off West Africa most notably west of Nigeria and Angola. The problem is that offshore oil production involves environmental risks, most notably oil spills from oil tankers transporting oil from the platform to onshore facilities, from pipelines doing the same, and from leaks and accidents on the platform. Barack Obama said he could support broad energy legislation even though it would permit offshore oil drilling which he had opposed, and John McCain said that he is now in favor of the same oil drilling off the coast that he was opposed to just a week ago.

Sarah Palin is in a debate camp in which she is being told what to say due to her inexperience in politics. As a example it shows John McCain yelling Sarah three times, then asks a Republican male associate is she ready I cant hold this crowd by myself, and the male associate “saying” ready? McCain where did you find her has she been living in an Igloo. This political cartoon shows that Sarah is the only way to help John have a chance in this election by her female appearance because McCain doesn’t know what to do. Another example is a female associate “saying” to Palin okay skip economics, foreign policy can you name just one member of the G-8 and Sarah said Russia? Is Russia one its near Alaska you know. This shows that Sarah has no experience in politics by foreign policy or economics which will be a problem if she becomes Vice-President. In response, Sarah Palin has to get her facts straight on nearly all the politics if she wants to become Vice-President with a good reputation because she is suppose to be the inspiration to women by being the first Vice-President female in the White House
