John Sidney McCain the third was born in Panal Canal Zone on August 29, 1936 by his father John Sidney McCain Jr. and Roberta (Wright) McCain. John is the third John Sidney McCain by his father the second and grandfather who's the first, he was given his United States citizenship even though he wasn't born in a U.S state but was given citizenship by jus sanguinis, and both his father and grandfather were commanding officers. He followed both his grandfather and father footsteps commanding navial aviation at the Battle of Okinawa, he graduated from Episocopal High School in 1954, said he wouldn't drop out of school and graduated college in 1958, and goes up to Pensacola, Florida and Christi Texas for the training of naval flight pilot. John McCain crashed during a flight run with no injuries escaping, then later graduating to become a naval flight pilot, marries Carol Shep a model originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and adopted his wife's lids Doug and Andy with a daughter names Sidney. John then divorced Carol on April 2, 1980 , John then was almost killed again on October 29, 1967 by getting shot down, having broken arms and legs, captured by North Vitenam, beaten senseless per week for 5.5 years, in 1973 was realesed, 1976 became the Navy liaison to the Senate, and retired in 1981.
McCain recieved a Silver Star, Bronze Star, The Legion of Merit, The Purple Heart, and the Distinguished Flying Cross. John McCain is one of the five veterans in the Vietnam War who are currently serving in the U.S Senate, in 1997 he was named one of the 25 Most Influential People in America, and married Cindy Hansley plus moved to Phoenix, Arizona working for her father's Anheuser-Busch beer distribution. When John Jacob Rhodes Jr. the longest Republican from Arizona announced his retirement John McCain ran for the seat as a Republican and won in 1982, and in 1986 upon Republican Senator Barry Goldwater's retired McCain was elected to succeed him. John then ran against George Bush for the Republican nomination of President and loss in 2000, but in 2004 he supported Bush for his beliefs for America. John McCain ran for the Republican part nomination for President in 2008 which he won and if he wins he will be the oldest United States President at age 72 because Ronald Regan was 69 when he was elected.
